Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council Activities

Karen Levitt continues being active in the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council (MCLC).

Karen is one of the founders and a past president of MCLC.  In  the spring of 2012, Karen left the MCLC Board of Directors on which she served for 12 years, to pursue other endeavors with MCLC.  Karen is Co-Chair of the Advanced Training Committee and is on the Strategic Planning Committee.  She has been invited to and has joined the Pilot MCLC Mentorship Program which she helped to develop with the Membership Committee and where she is one of the Mentors to newly trained collaborative attorneys and other practitioners.

Along with Emily Weber, Karen is Co-Chair of the MCLC Tri River practice group where attorneys, mental health professionals, financial professionals, and other collaboratively trained MCLC members from other disciplines come together to talk about and enhance their collaborative practice skills for the benefit of clients.

Karen has also continued to be part of the MCLC law student internship project, where law students from New England Law Boston participating in the law school’s Mediation and Dispute Resolution Clinic intern with Karen to learn about Mediation and Collaborative law.
