Karen has been invited to speak to law students at Massachusetts School of Law who are taking the Collaborative Justice course as part of their law school curriculum.
She will be speaking on October 8, 2013, on Collaborative Law and Mediation, and where these forms of dispute resolution fit into the continuum of processes available to clients to reach equitable and just resolutions of their cases.
Lively discussion is anticipated between Karen, the law students, and their law professor, in comparing these processes to other models such as litigation, arbitration, and restorative justice. The course provides an opportunity to educate law students about new forms of dispute resolution that will be available to them and their clients in business or family law as they graduate and practice law.
