Divorce

A divorce is the legal remedy to terminate a couple’s marriage. As a divorce attorney, Karen J. Levitt at Levitt Family Law & Mediation is experienced and will help you understand your choices, guide you, and advocate for you. As an experienced mediator, she can work with you to resolve your differences via mediation so you can move forward with your life.

A party can work together with us as their attorney or parties can mutually work with us in mediation, to reach a divorce agreement without going to Court except for the final uncontested divorce hearing to have the Court approve the Agreement. The final hearing is called “uncontested” not because the parties had no conflict or disagreements, but because they were able to work out any conflicts and disagreements and reach a mutually agreeable settlement.
